Our New Zealand road trip with teenagers continues north from Waihi Beach, taking us through Whangamatā and Auckland before a free afternoon at Auckland Botanic Gardens and a peaceful evening sea dip at Snells Beach.

Our final full day in Australia was spent at Sea World Gold Coast, exploring Shark Bay, Ray Reef, polar bears, sea lions and penguins, with the Pacific Airshow providing an unexpected backdrop to our adventure.

Our Sydney adventure with two teenage boys included a free day exploring the Australian Museum, Hyde Park, the Botanical Gardens, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, followed by Bondi Beach and an unexpected Port Stephens accommodation find.
